Connor and Kaitlin meet for the first time and there is documentation! After 4 years at a Catholic all-boys highschool, Connor calls his shot and tells Logan that he is going to marry that girl. Connor and Kaitlin become fast friends.

Connor asks Kaitlin out on a date...she says no.

Connor gets over it.

Throughout the remainder of the year, Connor and Kaitlin's friendship grows as one is clearly a good influence on the other and continues to be to this day.

Connor and Kaitlin spend the last day of fall semester together as Kaitlin was studying abroad in Spain the following semester. They are hanging out all night and at 2am, Connor takes a deep breath and tells Kaitlin that there is something he needs to ask her. Kaitlin immediately knows what's coming. Connor looks at Kaitlin and asks if she sees a future of them together, she says no. He follows it up with "I'll wait for you", Kaitlin assures him that she is not interested and to not wait for her. They get up the next morning and go their separate ways.

Kaitlin returns from study abroad with a boyfriend and Connor starts going on dates. The two are still very close friends.

The gang takes their senior spring break trip to Florida! They stay in Logan's uncle's beach house and go swimming and kayaking and soak up every last bit of them being together.

They "all" graduate! Kaitlin has a medical device job that is taking her to Kansas City. Amy has been accepted to PA School in Pennsylvania. Logan is pursuing medical school in Nebraska, and Connor has another year left since his 6 month internship at NASA had him defer a year.

Connor and Kaitlin keep in touch and occasionally see each other when Connor is in Kansas City for the holidays. Kaitlin tells Connor that she wants to find a man that can cook, sweet, smart, has manners, funny, "basically is just like you, Connor"...ouch

Logan is planning on proposing to his girlfriend, Courtney. Connor flys into KC and him and Kaitlin drive up to Lincoln, Nebraska to meet this girl. At the end of the weekend trip, Courtney asks Logan if there is something between Connor and Kaitlin, Logan responds "No, they are just really good friends." Later that night Connor stays at Kaitlin's place before he flys out to DC the next morning. He makes Kaitlin and her roommate, Megan, dinner (hot honey chicken and garlic smashed potatoes). That night, Kaitlin starts to think that maybe going on one date with Connor might not be that big of a deal...

Connor drunkenly calls Kaitlin at a AstroNuts party (a college reunion for all the Aerospace Engineers). He asks Kaitlin out on a date and she says yes! He then tells her that it's always been her.

Connor flys into KC for their first date. He drove over to her apartment and picked her up at the door with a bouquet of flowers. They went to dinner at a nice restaurant and Kaitlin surprised Connor with a reservation at a space themed rooftop bar. The following day, they agree to start dating and then Connor has to fly home to DC.

Kaitlin and Connor meet up in Pennsylvania to see Amy for the weekend. Connor has a bouquet in hand at the airport when Kaitlin's flight lands. Connor tells Kaitlin that he loves her which she happily says "I love you" in return!

Kaitlin flys out to DC to visit Connor. Kaitlin's flight got in late so Connor had a bouquet and Chick-fil-A waiting in the car when she arrived. He shows her around DC and takes her to his favorite place, The National Air and Space Museum. Kaitlin also got to spend some quality time with Connor's dog, Maya!

Connor surprises Kaitlin for her 26th birthday by planning a full New York trip! This was Kaitlin's first time in New York and she absolutely fell in love with the city!

Kaitlin flys to DC to help Connor move to KC! They successfully drive the 16 hour trip! Connor moves in with his mom. He only later told Kaitlin that his leased actually ended in May, but he didn't want to wait any longer to be closer to her.

Kaitlin and Connor fly to Utah for Connor to officially meet the parents! Connor had met her parents in college before, but this was special since they were now officially dating! Of course they went hiking in Kaitlin's favorite National Park, Zion. Connor really liked Utah as he said it reminded him of Mars. Kaitlin's parents give their blessing for the two to move in together...thanks mom and dad :)

They sign their lease to their first apartment! Celebratory beers at the Peanut!

Connor and Kaitlin love their little apartment on the Plaza in KC, many walks to the neighborhood park with Maya.

Connor and Kaitlin fly out to Utah for Labor Day weekend and meetup with Amy and her friend, Rachel, at Kaitlin's parents. Connor asks Kaitlin's dad, Mark, for his blessing for him to propose. Mark is overjoyed with Connor becoming part of the family!

Connor pops the question at one of Kaitlin's favorite places in KC, Loose Park! Amy was there to witness it and was able to record the whole proposal!

Connor and Kaitlin spend Christmas with Kaitlin's family in Utah. Over this time, they are discussing wedding locations and Utah gets brought up. With Kaitlin's love for hiking and the National Parks and Connor saying that Utah looks other-worldly, it makes perfect sense to get married here!

We can't wait to celebrate with you all!
